They are the only demon that drops the Chaser Jaws. These are the most difficult to kill due to their speed, so the best way to kill them is to lure them over to a fence or cliff first, as they cannot traverse over those. Chaser: These things look like a small black alligator head with one bloodshot eye on either side and 4 stumpy limbs that move nearly to the speed of light hence the name 'Chaser'.It is the slowest demon but, the most painstaking to kill due to its small hitbox. The Rot: The Rot is a rectangular, tiny, red blob with strange green orbs protruding from its flesh, looking suspiciously like The Potato.Second slowest to the game, so usual demon hunters enjoy hunting these in particular. Ooze: Similar to an Amorphous, they are an all black creature that has a single red eye.A good way to avoid being cursed by one while attacking it is to run in circles or diagonally. Amorphous: Amorphous is a fast floating phantom with multiple red eyes and an oily black body.Demons will always prioritize the closest player. Once the player is cursed, they'll go back to idling around until a new player comes within their vicinity, in which they will resume chase once more. The speed of a demon increases the further from the Fields it is led in order to stop people from bringing them to places where crowds of people are.ĭemons attack by applying a random curse to their victim. Once a player gets close enough, they'll start to chase, moving at much higher speeds. They'll spawn in random areas in or around the Lost Fields, where they'll slowly move around. Demons will also spawn outside of the Lost Fields, being able to be found in all outdoor places except the Deepwoods and Crystal Forest.īarring differences in speed and the space they can move on, all demons act identically to each other. This can be looked down upon because it gives new players, or players who are trying to increase their stats an unfair advantage.Īccidental kill steals/demon stealing can be caused if the player is lagging, their attack is miscalculated, or they were trying to avoid being attacked by an inkbile, but due to a misturn the inkbiles might chase them.ĭuring the Blood Moon Bash event, killing a demon earns you 1 point. Kill stealing is when a player who has more stats or not randomly goes up to a player who's already trying to kill a demon, but get their kill stolen when the other player purposefully attacks it, or by one shotting their kill. Pressing that key will now shoot at demons instead! Go under the Chat tab and assign the /shoot command to one of the hotkeys at the bottom of the screen. Go into the settings gear at the top right and click Actions. There is a way to attack by pressing a button on the keyboard if clicking is bothersome. Go into the Lost Fields at night and click on demons once they start chasing you.ĭemon Plushies: Amorphous, Ooze, The Rot, Chaser, Eye of the Drachenlieche, The Writhing, Grabber, Eyelord, and Dermon(Lurch plush missing).Click on this menu and select your clan (You cannot attack demons with the Dark Apprentice or Starch Lord tags). There will be a drop-down menu that says tag.
